The International Gymnastic Federation introduced new apparatus rules in 2022. According to those rules, all hand apparatus intended for use in major international competitions must have markings in compliance with the FIG standards. This indicates that specific equipment suitable for Rhythmic Gymnastics is attached to appropriate weight, dimensions, and materials for this sport.
According to updated regulations, the FIG emblem must be permanent, of a fixed size, and applied via painting rather than as a sticker.
